The SRT-6700 VSS Unit is available in virtually hundreds of different Vehicle Specific System platforms. The VSS platform provides a much faster & easier understood installation compared to the "universal" type systems offered today. A VSS platform eliminates the need to wire the system for the specific vehicle its going to be installed into and provides a VSS guide that indicates which wire from the system goes to what wire in the vehicle, where that wire is in the vehicle, and how to verify (test) it using the supplied test probe.

• One 4-Button 2-Way Remote Control Clearly labeled buttons for each major function: Lock, Unlock, Trunk & Remote Start. Also includes a Standard 1-Way 4 Button Remote.
• Up to 1400 feet of 2-Way Remote Control Range!
• Rolling Code Technology. High-Tech electronics that prevents the remote frequency from being duplicated or the system from being scanned for its disarm frequency.
• RED System Status LED. Commonly mounted in the dash, to the right of the steering column, this extra bright blue LED flashes after the system is armed to assist as a visual deterrent. The LED will also indicate attempted intrusions and/or any triggering of the system.
• Dual Zone Shock Sensor. Impact/Vibration Sensor to detect light and heavy impacts made to your vehicle. Multi-levels of adjustment to assure the right sensitivity for your size of vehicle without the worry of the system "false triggering".
• Flashing Parking Lights. A visual indication of the system being controlled via the remote or continuous flashing if the alarm is triggered.

• Tachless Mode with Crank Averaging. Another design by Code Alarm which eases installation by not having to run a wire through the firewall to a tach wire. The system continuously monitors the vehicles voltage and crank time everytime the vehicle is started with the key. This provides automatic crank adjustments to the remote starter circuit without requiring any direct programming.
• Remote Start ON/OFF Safety Toggle Switch: Small ON/OFF toggle switch that mounts under the driver side dash that just turns the remote starter feature on or off. Used mainly when bringing the vehicle in for service. With the switch OFF, the remote starter feature can not be activated with the remote.
• Visual Remote Start Confirmation - Parking Lights will Flash upon activation of the remote starter feature, then, turn on solid and stay on the whole time the vehicle is running via remote start.
