The CA-1551 VSS provides 2-Way Confirmation & Alarm Paging. Will remotely lock & unlock your vehicles doors with a LCD screen on one of the remotes that will indicate if your vehicle is locked and the alarm is armed, unlocked/disarmed and page you if the alarm is triggered when your within 400 yards of the vehicle. 2-Way Confirmation and Paging Security System:
1 x Two-Way 433Mhz LCD Display Remote:5-Button Indigo Blue Illuminated 1-5/8" LCD Screen with 20 different status icons that provide a visual confirmation of the vehicles status with the addition of audible tones and/or vibration modes. Additional 2-way remote features include: Protective metal housing, remote battery saver mode, remote battery strength indicator, within range indicator, button lockout (temporarily disables the remote), digital alarm clock, parking meter countdown reminder, 2nd vehicle control and more.
1 x One-Way 433Mhz Remote:Provides control all of the standard features of the CA-1551 system also with a metal protective case.
Windshield Mounted Antenna: Provides extended range for both remotes, up to 1200'. Additional antenna features include built-in valet/emergency override/programming button and two flashing blue status LED's.
All Entrance Instant Alarm Protection:Alarms all the vehicle doors. The alarm will trigger before the door is fully opened. Also sends a signal to the 2-way remote within 30 seconds.
Hood & Trunk Protection: Includes hood pin switch for alarming the vehicles hood and a mercury tilt switch for alarming the vehicles trunk (or alarming truck cap hatch or truck bed tool box).
Flashing Parking Lights: The system will flash the vehicles parking lights for a visual indication anytime the vehicle is armed/locked or disarmed/unlocked with the systems remotes, and when the alarm system is triggered.
Siren or Horn Choice: The system can use the supplied siren as a sounding device or the vehicles horn, its your choice. Includes 125dbl weatherproof siren.
RPS Horn Output: When using the vehicles horn as a sounding device, the "Random Panic Sound" circuit will pulse the vehicles horn very randomly, never beeping the vehicles horn the same way twice, you'll know when its your vehicles alarm going off!
Duel Stage Magnetic Shock Sensor: Fully adjustable shock sensor for detecting lite and heavy impacts made to the vehicle. Separate warn-away and full trigger adjustable settings. The system also has a temporary shock-sensor bypass thru the remote feature that can be used when parked in high traffic areas that could cause false triggering due to high vibration/noisy environments.
Duel Blue Status LED's: No drilling holes in the dash! The systems antenna has two blue LED's built into it that flashes every second when the system is armed.
Built-In Security Tamper Zone Indication: If the system was triggered while you were out of range the two blue LED's will flash a pattern that indicates what sensor of the system was triggered.
Silent Alarm Feature: Don't want the system to sound the siren or the vehicles horn if the system was triggered? You can easily set the system to just page the 2-way remote if the system is triggered.
Door Ajar Notification: The system will sound quickly 3X if you didn't close all the vehicles doors completely upon arming the system.
Lost or Stolen Remote Delete: In the event a remote was lost or stolen, the missing remote can easily be erased from the system.
4 Remote Capacity: The system can easily be programmed to operate with 2 additional remotes (sold separately) for a total of 4 remotes at a time.
Passive or Active Arming: The system can easily be set to automatically arm itself (passive mode) within 2 minutes after closing the last door of the vehicle or only arm when the systems remote is used (active, default setting)
Remote Keyless Entry: Remotely locks and unlocks the vehicles doors at the same time the alarm system is armed and disarmed.
Passive or Active Door Locks: The system can easily be set to automatically lock the vehicles doors (passive lock mode) within 2 minutes after closing the last door of the vehicle or only lock the doors when the systems remote is used (active, default setting)
Ignition Controlled Door Locks: The system can easily be set to automatically lock the vehicles doors when the vehicles ignition is turned on and/or unlock the vehicles door when the ignition is turned off. It can do one or the other or both (none is the default setting)
Progressive Car Finder Feature: Locate your vehicle in crowded parking lots! Press & release either remotes car finder button and the system will quickly pulse the vehicles horn (or the siren) 5X at a low volume that will get progressively louder each time you press the car finder button.
Remote Power Trunk/Hatch Activation: The CA-1551 has the ability to remotely open the trunk or hatch on vehicles equipped with a interior power trunk or hatch release button.
Silent Choice:1 press of the remotes lock or unlock button will arm & disarm and lock or unlock the vehicles doors silently and just flash the vehicles parking lights, a second press of either button will pulse the vehicles horn or siren. This feature can easily be turned off if you want to hear the chirp on the first press of the button or completely off if you don't want any audible indication at all.
Panic Mode: Press & hold the car finder button on either remote for over 3 seconds and you can trigger the alarm system. Ideal for scaring off any suspicious characters seen around or near the vehicle when approaching the vehicle.
Valet Mode:Temporarily turns off the alarm system of the CA-1551 yet still keeps the remote keyless entry feature fully functional. Commonly used when the vehicle is being brought in for maintenance.
2nd Car Mode: If a second CA-1551 system is installed in another of your vehicles (or any Code Alarm series system with a 2nd car mode feature) you could control both systems from just one remote.
New, Smaller Main Control Module: This newly designed "brain" of the CA-1551 system can fit in the palm of your hand, makes it a lot easier for under dash placement in tight spots.
Data Port (a.k.a. DBI Port): If your vehicle requires an interface kit for the system to integrate with the vehicles OEM features, a data port is a plug-in feature that could eliminate having to make several additional connections that a system without a data port would require you to make.
