2 - Way Transmitter Confirmation: To start the vehicle, the transmitter button is pressed 2 times within 2 seconds. As a visual indication, the parking lights will flash then remain on the whole time the vehicle is running via the remote starter system. The 2-way transmitter confirms the command sent to the system in the vehicle by illuminating the transmitter button. When the system recieves a command from the 2-way transmitter, a signal is then sent back to the transmitter and the transmitter's button will begin to flash. The number of flashes will indicate the vehicle's status. 2 Flashes indicate remote start activation. 1 Flash every 8 seconds indicate that the vehicle is running via the remote starter. 4 Flashes indicate out of range (the vehicle did not remote start) or remote starter timed out.
