The Code Alarm CA-421 VSS Unit is available in virtually hundreds of different Vehicle Specific System platforms. The VSS platform provides a much faster & easier understood installation compared to the "universal" type systems offered today. A VSS platform eliminates the need to wire the system for the specific vehicle its going to be installed into and provides a VSS guide that indicates which wire from the system goes to what wire in the vehicle, where that wire is in the vehicle, and how to verify (test) it using the supplied test probe.
