Details:

The X3 VSS Complete Unit is available in virtually hundreds of different Vehicle Specific System platforms. The VSS platform provides a much faster & easier understood installation compared to the "universal" type systems offered today. A VSS platform provides a VSS step-by-step installation guide that indicates which wire from the system goes to what wire in the vehicle, where that wire is in the vehicle, and how to verify (test) it using the supplied test probe.
Includes Two 5-Button Remote's
Remote Keyless Entry: Lock and unLock the vehicles power door locks by remote control.
Automatically Arms & Disarms the alarm system when the doors are locked and unlock with the X3 VSS remotes.
Up to 500 Feet of Remote Control Range.
All Door Protection: The system will trigger if any of the vehicles doors are opened
2-Stage Built-In Shock Sensor: Detects Lite & Heavy impacts made to the vehicle that will warn-away and/or trigger the alarm system.
Flashing Parking Lights: The system will flash the vehicles parking lights whenever the systems remotes are used and when the alarm is triggered.
Horn Output: The X3 VSS system uses the vehicles horn as a sounding device when the alarm is triggered for easier installation.
Emergency Override Bypass/Valet Switch: The X3 VSS system can be disarmed without the use of the OEM transmitter (Ignition Key is still needed). Provides the ability to shut down the alarm system if the transmitter is lost or its battery fails or if the X3 VSS system malfunctions. This will keep the system OFF until whatever repairs or maintenance needed is performed.
Power Trunk Release Output: The system will activate the vehicles existing power trunk or hatch release by press & holding the remotes * Button down for 4 seconds.
Panic Button Mode: The alarm system can be activated using the remote.
Silent Arming & Disarming Choice
Status LED: In Dash mounted RED LED that steadily flashes when the system is armed.
Extra Alarm Trigger Input: For installing the included pin switch for alarming the vehicles hood OR the input can be used for an add-on glass break sensor or mercury tilt-switch for trunk protection (Both sold separately offered during checkout).
Siren Output: The X3 VSS system has the ability to use an external siren if desired instead of using the vehicles horn (No Extra Charge for Optional Siren. Offered during Checkout)
VSS Set-Up: You will be asked to indicate the Year, Make & Model of the vehicle you plan on installing this system on at checkout, along with a check-list of options that may pertain to your specific vehicle.
System-to-Vehicle Specific Installation Manual. Step-by-Step, wire to wire installation guide that indicates exactly what wire from the system goes to what wire in your vehicle, where that wire is located and how to verify it using the supplied test probe
