Perfect for vehicles already equipped with factory keyless entry remotes: Installing a remote starter system that works using the vehicles factory remotes can be a labor intensive ordeal with requiring you to run wires into a vehicles drivers door and passenger side wiring harness, with the end result having the remote starter system only working from 100 feet away at most... not so with the CA-4051 VSS system. The CA-4051 VSS systems smaller remotes takes up nearly no extra room on your key chain, doesn't require running wires into a door and out performs any factory remotes operating range by at least 3X....most factory keyless entry remotes only work at most from 50 feet away, and if you have to be that close to the vehicle to remote start it, you might as well get in and start it with the key! The CA-4051 VSS system is the all around better choice.
Vehicle Specific Ready System: The CA-4051 VSS is available in virtually hundreds of different vehicle specific platforms. A VSS system provides a faster & easier installation by including all the components & detailed information necessary to install the system into the specific vehicle.
Includes 2 X Mini One Button Remotes: High 433Mhz operating frequency. The remotes are not much bigger than a quarter, but with a full size button.
Long Range Windshield Mounted Antenna: Easily installed behind the rear view mirror, on the inside of the vehicles windshield, to provide between 500 to 800 Feet of Remote Starting Range. Remotely start your vehicle from inside your home or from the other end of the parking lot or possibly from a stores checkout counter within range.
Pre-Heat or Pre-Cool: Leave your heat or AC controls on and the CA-4051 VSS system will automatically apply power to the accessory circuit of your vehicle within 30 seconds after the vehicle is remote started. Have the interior pre-warmed and windshield defrosted or interior cooled down before you get in.
6 Adjustable Remote Start Run Times: Automatically shuts down the vehicle after the 15 minute pre-set run time or you can shut down the system earlier using the remote. Easily adjustable from 5, 10, 20, 45 or 60 minutes anytime using the systems programming button conveniently located on the systems antenna.
Quick-Stop Mode: This feature allows the vehicle to remain running after the key has been removed from the ignition. Just push the button on the systems remote 2X while the vehicle is running with the key, then turn off the ignition and remove your keys from the ignition, and the vehicle will remain running for the entire remote start run time (15 minutes by default). This feature is useful for occasions when you wish to exit the vehicle for short periods of time but would like to leave the motor running with the heat, defroster or air-conditioner on.
Parking Light Confirmation: Parking Lights Flash upon Remote Starter Activation and Turn ON solid during Remote Start Run Time.
Safety 2 Press Remote Start Activation: Pressing the remotes button 2X within 3 seconds to activate the remote starter helps prevent accidental remote starting that just 1 press of the button could do. The system can also be shut down using the same 2 press procedure (The system can be easily set to activate the remote start with just 1 press of the button is desired).
Safety ON/OFF Toggle Switch: Mini toggle switch that's mounted under the drivers dash that used to quickly disable the remote starter system for when the vehicle is being serviced, valet parked etc. Replaces having to install an under-the-hood pin switch.
Safety Brake Input: If the vehicle is entered and the brake pedal is stepped on before the ignition is turned on with the key, the vehicles engine will shut down automatically.
Valet Mode: Feature which also disables the remote starter using the systems valet button built into the systems antenna. No need to drill a hole in a panel to install a "Valet Switch".
No "Open-Door" Engine Kill: Many systems shut down as soon as the drivers door is open, with all the safety inputs the CA-4051 VSS system has already its unnesessary, and why would you want to have to start your vehicle 2X every time you want to remote start it?
Smart Tachless Mode: For easier installation, this newly designed tachless mode monitors the vehicles crank time, voltage & current levels to assure a more dependable and accurate remote start without having to run a wire out under the hood for a direct tach connection. The new smart tachless mode also provides automatic re-start if the vehicle fails to start on the first activation attempt when in colder climates.
Direct Tachometer Input for Diesel: Assures dependable remote starting for diesel engines or vehicles with lower voltage ignitions that a tachless mode could not monitor and older hard-to-start vehicles.
Diesel Compatible: 10, 15, 20 or 45 Second Crank Delay Time (Installer Adjustable)
Door Unlock Output Option: For vehicles with factory remote keyless entry systems that don't work while the engine is running (This one feature may not be applicable to your specific vehicle) you will be able to unlock the vehicles doors with the CA-4051 systems remote while the vehicle is running via the remote start.
2 or 3 Hour Start Timer: The CA-4051 can be set to auto start without the use of the remote every 2 or 3 hours over a 48 hour period. This feature is especially useful in cold climates where the only means to keep the engine and engine fluids warm is to periodically start the engine.
Advanced DATA Port (D2D): Makes a variety of bypass interface kits easier to install. Reduces the number of wires needed to be "hard wired" to the vehicle and system via a plug & play type data plug.
No-Key-Required Bypass Interface Kit: Includes any needed FlashLogic Brand D2D bypass interface kit pre-programmed for your specific vehicle. The Flashlogic brand bypass interface kits do not permanently bypass any factory anti-theft systems, they directly communicate with your vehicles factory system only to allow remote starting of the vehicle, and keeps the factory anti-theft system totally intact and working as it was.
Failsafe Design: Built for years of trouble free performance: In the rare event that the CA-4051 should fail to operate due to vehicle electrical or mechanical problems or even a CA-4051 system malfunction, the CA-4051 system will not interfere with the vehicle from being started normally with a key.
