The Code Alarm CA-4050 VSS Remote starter system is available in virtually hundreds of different Vehicle Specific platforms. A VSS system provides a much faster & easier understood installation compared to the "universal" type systems offered today. A VSS system eliminates the need to wire the system for the specific vehicle its going to be installed into and provides a VSS guide that indicates which wire from the system goes to what wire in the vehicle, where that wire is in the vehicle and how to verify the wire using the kits supplied test probe.
Includes 2 X One Button Mini Remote's: High 433Mhz Operating Frequency. The remotes are not much bigger than a Quarter, but with a full size button. 500 to 800 Feet of Operating Range
Pre-Heat or Pre-Cool: The CA-4050 system automatically turns on the vehicles Heat or AC within 30 seconds after the vehicle is remote started.
Safety 2 Press Start: You have to Press the Remotes Button 2X within 3 Seconds to Activate the Remote Starter. Helps Prevent Accidental Remote Starting that just 1 press of the button could do. The system can also be shut down using the same 2 press procedure (Installer adjustable to 1 press starting and shut-down).
Quick-Stop Mode: This feature allows the vehicle to remain running after the key has been removed from the ignition. This feature is useful for occasions when you wish to exit the vehicle for short periods of time but would like to leave the motor running with the heat or air-conditioner on.
